What I offer
I am trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Aerial, Acro and Partner Yoga so there are a whole host of possibilities for what our sessions can look like.
Sessions last for 60 minutes and I will communicate with you beforehand so you can let me know what your goals are and what you would like each session to focus on.
I will then tailor-make sessions that will evolve as you improve and grow in confidence.
• Increased flexibility
• Increased muscle strength and tone
• Improved respiration
• Increased energy and vitality
• Reduction in weight
• Improved cardio and circulatory health
What a typical session looks like
The session begins when you take the first step of booking with me. I will then have a consultation with you about your goals and aspirations for your yoga practice.
Maybe you just want to give it a go in a familiar, safe space. Maybe you want to tone up and lose some weight? It's all good!
I can provide the yoga mat if you don't currently have one. You just need to wear some comfortable clothes and have an open, willing attitude.
My teaching philosophy
My teaching philosophy is that yoga should be engaging, fun and accessible. You don't have to be flexible, thin or young, you just have to be willing!
Whatever has brought you to the yoga mat and wherever you want the journey to take you, I am here to help you.
I am not naturally thin or flexible and have struggled and continue to do so within my own yoga practice and so I come from a place of compassion and empathy.

Why I do it
I first dipped my toes into the yoga waters when I was at a detox retreat. Due to a move to another country and work-related stresses, my weight had crept up to 13 stone. As I'm only 5 foot 3 inches and had always been around the 10 stone mark, I did not carry the weight well.
I knew I had to do something drastic as my nature is to be all or nothing. I signed up for a three week detox retreat in Koh Phangan, Thailand and the transformation began!
The type of yoga I did was restorative and low energy, allowing me to go inwards and be more reflective.
During this time I healed and transformed in a way that was different to anything I had experienced before. I knew I wanted to continue on this journey with yoga that I had begun.
I started to do yoga as a purely private practice.
It wasn't until a few years later when I attended a freestyle Yoga Retreat at Serenity Eco Guesthouse in Canggu, Bali, that I truly fell in love with yoga. At Serenity I learned, not only that yoga could be as sweaty and hard as any gym session but it was fantastic fun with the ability to truly transform your body.
After this retreat I returned home in the best shape of my life and continued to practise yoga privately in my own home.
Classes in the UK never appealed to me. My yoga practice was my time to reflect and seek answers from within. This did not align with a group practise style.
This is one of the reasons I wanted to become a Private Yoga Teacher. I wanted to assist people in looking within and using this to change their minds, bodies and ultimately, lives.
Where I studied
I chose to study in Ubud, Bali at the Aaayaa Yoga School. This Yoga School appealed to me because the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training was Multistyle which meant I was immersed in a multitude of yoga types. I am trained in:
